Unlike the regular path taken, UBC Elite-Amateur permits boxers:
1. Challenge for UBC titles on a single challenge-bout basis (not tournament format)
2. Compete without headguards
3. Receive a fight purse from the promoter should there be one

Headquartered in Colombia, the Universal Boxing Council has sanctioned professional titles and contests throughout the Americas, Carribean, Africa, and India. As part of a recent expansion program, the UBC formed its new 'Elite-Amateur' division, a unique divisional ruleset that bridges the gap between the Amateur and Professional ranks

If you would like to be part of the UBC Elite-Amateur program, there are two key ways to working with us:
​
1. By way of 'per event sanctioning'. Meaning promoters can sanction individua events on am as and when basis.
2. By way of 'licence agreement'. This consists of a single fee that entitles the rights to any particular jurisdiction / territory to the licence-holder. The fee includes: three (3) UBC titles of your choice; unlimited national title sanctions; greatly reduced UBC belt costs (with shipping); and the power to nominate subordinate territory licensees. If you are a regular promoter the licensee option is by far the most cost-efficient.
